Occasional dud torpedos from all sources as not all torpedos exploded upon impact.Ģ. In my opinion Wargaming needs to add a few things to the game:ġ. If they did attack naval shipping, in was only when they had a great number of u-boats in the wolfpack and they did so at their own peril as many of the ships were sunk by destroyers as well as the breaking of the communication codes so Allied naval ships KNEW where they were. ![]() The German Untderseaboat (U-boat) in general did not attack Naval ships, they attacked merchant shipping as they were trying to starve Britian out of the war. The IJN did not have enough subs at the beginning of the war and the majority of those subs were stationed along the Chinese/Korean coasts or in the South Pacific as they were going to be used for the invasion of New Guinea. Though Wargaming itself seems to have completely forgotten this fact as I have never seen an errant-run torp in game although ALL country factions had occasional torpedo straight line running issues. American submarines, as well as torpedo dive bombers had extreme major torpedo detonation and guidance issues until mid 1943. If and that is a big "if", Wargaming ever decided to put subs into the game, they would have almost no impact in the game until tier 9. ![]() Here is some information a lot of people tend to forget.
